Tax Administration Reform Project
GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
Loan No. 7835-KZ
The Republic of Kazakhstan (represented by the Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan) has been implementing Tax Administration Reform Project (total cost – US$ 56.7 mln.) co-financed by the World Bank in the amount of US$ 17,000,000, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this Project to payments for goods and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project consists of the following components:
1. Component I “Institutional Development”
2. Component II “Operational Development”
3. Component III “IT Infrastructure Development”
4. Component IV “Project Management”
The following procurements will be required for the project:
Goods
Consultant Services
Procurement of contracts financed by the loan will be conducted through the procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004 and revised in 2006, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004 and revised in 2006.
Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for large-value consultants’ contracts will be announced, as they become available, in United Nations Development Business online, dgMarket and in local newspapers and the web-page of the Tax Committee.
Interested eligible bidders who wish to be included into the mailing list to receive an invitation to bid under ICB procedures, and interested consultants who wish to receive a copy of the advertisement requesting expressions of interest for large-value consultants; contracts, or those requiring additional information, should contact the address below.
